A Free African mask making workshop was held with Rebecca Jeffery at
St Brannock's Church Rooms, Braunton
on Thursday 26th April 2007
from 5-7pm.
Supper was served from 7pm in the church rooms, followed by performance by Brekete Pan African Dance & Drum Ensemble.

Rebecca Jeffery will be teaching Afrobics - movement,dance, exercise and stretch to African Music - in a new series of classes which will begin on 2nd May.

New Afro Samba Dance classes start in May
Rebecca Jeffery will begin a series of new Afro Samba dance classes for fun and performance at this summer's carnivals and festivals in Devon, Cornwall and beyond!

Venue 1: Baptist Church Hall, Boutport Street, next to Braunton roundabout and (behind Greenlanes shopping mall) Barnstaple
Starts 30th April 2007 (Mondays)
7 - 8.30pm

Venue 2: Holsworthy Community College, Victoria Hill, Holsworthy, Devon, EX22 6JD
Starts 4th May 2007 (Thursdays)
7 - 8.30pm
Cost: £5 (£4 conc) or £32 for 8 classes. £1.50 for accompanied under 16s.
Dress: soft shoes, leggings, wide skirt, or jogging pants.

Clinton Hall, Merton, Nr Okehampton
on Friday 27th April 2007

FREE FAMILY DANCE WORKSHOP
Rebecca Jeffery(dance) with Sam Yeboah(drum)
held a free African dance workshop from 5 - 7pm prior to the performance. 20 adults with some children learnt the zulu warrior dance after a little information about the background of the dance.
